    Now, we are going to pit two little phones, Samsung Wave S8500 against HTC Wildfire. As a little powerful smartphones, these phones surely provides features and technology to satisfy their users. So, which small phone will come out as the winner.


    Connectivity:
    It is just the Bluetooth that becomes the gap between them, Samsung Wave has Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP while Wildfire is only providing Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP. However they have the same features in connectivity such as 3G/HSDPA (7.2 Mbps) and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.

    Size & Weight:
    Even thouh these two phones has the same weight, 118g, The Wildfire is wider, measuring 60.4mm to the Wave’s 56.0mm. Besides, 10.9mm of Wave’s thickness tells us that it is skinnier than Wildfire.

    Camera:
    Samsung Wave S8500 has armed with two cameras, front-facing and rear-facing camera. The rear-facing camera is powered with 5.0MP of camera and the camera itself also equipped with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face/smile/blink detection, image stablilization and HD video recording. The Wildfire’s 5.0 Megapixel camera (with autofocus, LED flash, smile detection, geo-tagging and video recording) equals the Wave’s. However, the HD video recording became something that Wildfire lack of.

    Screen/keyboard:
    This is not only the type of screen that differ these two phones, the size is different as well. Wave S8500 is armed with AMOLED screen that sized of 3.3 inches and 480 x 800 pixels of resolution while the Wildfire perform the 3.2 inches of LCD screen that has resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

    Storage:
    For the storage, Samsung Wave S8500 provides 2GB of internal storage with microSD slot for expand another 32GB. HTC Wildfire only relies on its 384 0f RAM but, also support for microSD card slot that able to accommodate 32GB size of file.

    Battery Life:
    In this section, Samsung Wave S8500 have to admit that HTC Wildfire is stronger. HTC Wildfire’s battery provides power that sustain 690 hours of standby times while Wave’s is only sustaining for 450 hours of standby times. However, Wave’s battery provides a power for 8.5 hours of talk time while Wildfire is only providing 8 hours of talk time.

    Extra Feature
    Both HTC Wildfire and Samsung Wave S8500 are providing almost the same extra features. Here are their extra features, FM radio (with RDS), GPS/A-GPS and a digital compass. There is also Samsung Mobile Navigator for Samsung Wave S8500. Overall, they have the same extra features.

    Conclusion
    Samsung Wave S8500 is a winner. It has bigger storage, larger and better screen, more skinny phone. However, they have their own place where you can download the applications, Samsung Application Store and Google Android Market.
