Footage of Google’s new Android music app in action has just hit the interwebs, showing off a cool new user interface and slick album organisation.
First spotted by our friends over at xda-developers, the short video below gives you a brief demonstration of what soon will become Android’s default music application. It’s better looking, that’s for sure, with bright, vibrant colours, swipe-friendly navigation and album stacking that looks more like something out of Steve Jobs dreams than Google’s Android.
Expected to launch with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, it’s a welcome update to the slightly tired music player of Androids old and is sure to keep it in competition with Apple’s iPhone 4.
We’re mighty exited by the launch of Honeycomb, especially if we can expect a similar refresh to Android’s native apps.
