Android Update: HTC ChaCha Gets Its First Update
The ChaCha is HTC’s ”Facebook” phone (along with the HTC Salsa) and has
just received its first ever over-the-air update. Your phone will
receive a notification of FOTA update when it is made available. Simply
press OK to accept the update via a data connection such as Wi-Fi or
GPRS/3G. After installing the update, you can confirm a successful
update by confirming the Build number (From the Home Screen go to MENU> Settings> About Phone> Software Information> Software number). The new Build number after the update will be 1.18.401.1. Motorola is rolling out the 3.1 update for its Motorola Xoom in Europe
The Motorola Xoom is receiving the 3.1 update in Europe. Here is a direct quote from Motorola:
“The 3.1 update for Motorola XOOM™ outside the U.S. has started.
Owners in Europe can expect updates over the next several weeks until
the roll out is complete. The 3.1 update for non-U.S. devices, in
addition to many other improvements, also includes SD card activation.
Release notes will be made available in each region, functionality
varies by region.”
